Dr.Katrina J. Banks, PT, DPT, CCI, CSRS, LSVT-BIG, PWR-C, NCS

Katrina J, Banks is a licensed Physical Therapist with a specialty in Neurology, and owner of Neurologic Optimal Wellness Physical Therapy LLC. She is a Springfield, MA native and became intrigued with the profession of Physical Therapy back in high school when her aunt had suffered a stroke.

She is a UMASS Amherst Alum (Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelors of Art in Psychology 2007), an American International College Alum (Masters of Physical Therapy 2009), and a Temple University Alum (Doctor of Physical Therapy 2014).

She is a lifelong learner and wants to stay current to any new research or interventions that may be beneficial to her clientele. Currently she is a Certified Clinical Instructor (2016) for Physical Therapist students, certified as a Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (2016), certified in LSVT-BIG Parkinson’s disease (2017), a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (2020), and recently obtained a certification as a Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) therapist (2021).

When she takes a rest from the Neuro Physical Therapy world, she loves to work out, travel, and spend time with her family! She looks forward to working with her clients with the goal of restoring movement, improving function, and slowing down neurologic decline!

Tara Maroney PT, DPT, RYT, GCS, CEEAA Dr.Maroney smiling for professional headshot.

Tara graduated from Sacred Heart University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program and completed a residency in geriatrics at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Geriatrics (GCS) and currently teaches at American International College. Dr. Maroney’s teaching focus involves neuromuscular and geriatric patient management, health and wellness, teaching and learning, and scientific inquiry. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT), a certified exercise expert for aging adults (CEEAA), and an LSVT BIG certified clinician. Dr. Maroney is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy. She currently serves as an Assembly Representative and Delegate of the Western District for the American Physical Therapy Association of Massachusetts and is excited to be serving as a programming committee member for the Academy of Geriatrics.

Lilia became a Physical Therapist in 2017 then continued her studies and went on to graduate from the University of Harford’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2023. She has a passion for helping patients from all backgrounds. She is a native from Westfield, MA and enjoys giving back to her community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her little one!

Mr.Cee is our new to our Activity-Based Wellness Program position, but he is not new to training. He has trained for numerous of years in Western Massachusetts area. He is excited to be a part of the team and to continue to make a lasting impact here at Neurologic Optimal Wellness.

Anissa Prescott Billing Manager

Formally the Office Manager turned Billing Manager, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep compassion for the medical field to her role. With a strong commitment to educating our clients, she ensures they understand their billing processes and options, making each interaction as clear and supportive as possible. She continues to further her educational background.

 

 

 

Tatiana Stovall Office Manager

Tatiana is our Office Manager with a passion for learning and a heart for helping others. She has a knack for organization and a positive attitude, she ensures our office runs smoothly while fostering a supportive environment for the team. Tatiana loves to explore new ideas and skills, and is always seeking ways to improve both personally and professionally. Her compassion for people shines through in everything she does, making her an invaluable part of our team.
