Wellness (Personal Training)

Our Personal Training program is designed to cater to various individuals who can benefit from personalized guidance and support. This includes clients who have reached the limit of their insurance benefits for Physical Therapy but still wish to pursue their goals beyond that. We also welcome clients who have successfully completed their Physical Therapy program and are seeking to sustain and further develop the functional gains they have achieved. Additionally, we warmly invite new clients who are eager to enhance their fitness levels with the expert supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist. Our personal training sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs and aspirations of each individual, ensuring a safe and effective fitness journey.

Types of Programs:

Strength Training Program

Goal: To provide a continuation of care once discharged from Physical Therapy to maintain and improve overall range of motion and strength. This strength program will be individualized.

Recommended 2 to 3x/Week

  • Can be done in person and/or online if deemed safe.
  • Upper Extremity Training
  • Lower Extremity Training
  • Core Strength Training

Mobility Training Program

Goal: To provide continuation of care once discharged from Physical Therapy to maintain safe functional mobility. This program will include caregiver training who may require guidance in mobilizing their loved ones safely to prevent self-injuries.  This Mobility Training program will be individualized.

Recommended 2 to 3x/ Week

  • Bed Mobility
  • Sit/Stand Transfers
  • Stand Pivot Transfers
  • Ambulation Training/Endurance
  • How to get off the floor post fall.

Balance Training/Fall Prevention Program

To provide continuation of care once discharged from Physical Therapy to continue to challenge static/dynamic balance with the goal of decreasing falls. This balance and falls prevention program will be individualized.

Recommended 2 to 3x/Week

  • Working on Static/Dynamic Balance
  • Firm/Foam Surfaces
  • Getting off the floor post fall

Health Coaching

Health Coaching 1:1 with Dr. Banks (Telehealth)

(2 sessions minimum per month)

Focuses on guiding individuals towards making positive lifestyle changes that will improve their physical, mental, and emotional health. Health coaches provide personalized support, helping clients set achievable goals and develop sustainable habits. One of the key benefits of health coaching is that it takes a holistic approach to wellness. Rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms or concerns, health coaches work with clients to identify and address the root causes of their health issues. They take into account various factors such as nutrition, exercise, stress levels, sleep patterns, and emotional well-being to create a comprehensive plan for better health.
