LSVT-BIG Program

Our treatment approach focuses on recalibrating how individuals perceive their movements to align with what others actually see. By working closely with an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician, each person receives personalized one-on-one treatment tailored to their unique abilities and goals, ensuring that they are working towards what is meaningful to them.

During the treatment sessions, which are 60 minutes long, our dedicated clinicians guide and support patients through a series of exercises and techniques specifically designed to improve walking, self-care, and other daily tasks. The program is delivered over four consecutive weeks, with sessions conducted four days a week.

To maximize the effectiveness of the treatment, daily homework practice is an essential component. Patients are encouraged to dedicate 10-20 minutes each day for practicing the exercises learned during the treatment sessions. Additionally, daily carryover assignments are assigned for all 30 days of the month, ensuring that the progress made in the clinic is applied to real-life situations.

LSVT-BIG can only be administered by an LSVT-BIG Certified Clinician as part of prescribed physical or occupational therapy. Our clinicians have undergone specialized training and possess the expertise to deliver this evidence-based treatment with precision and care.
